Summer Camp at the University of Central Florida

If your going to attend two (2) summer camps this year I recommend going to a new and different camp. It's always good to get new feed back from a coach who has never seen you play and for you to promote your skills to a coach who otherwise would probably not get to see you play. There are several local universities that offer you the ability to do both. In addition, There is a university just a few hours drive from South Florida that offers a dynamic summer camp taught by a coach with both national and International experience.

The University of Central Florida

Todd Dagenais created the protocol for the Central Florida Volleyball Camps to help players from all levels improve their current volleyball skills, develop an appreciation for the finer nuances of the game, and foster an intense desire to work hard and improve at every challenge they attempt to conquer. Our goal here at Central Florida Volleyball Camps is to help show life lessons about what can be achieved when players push themselves to the maximum. Hard work is contagious and learning the value of what can be achieved through hard work is part of our mission statement. Developing players should attend our camps and clinics because of the top notch coaching they will receive. If you want to get better at volleyball, Central Florida Volleyball Camps is the place for you!

Central Florida Volleyball Camps has a number of camps and clinics planned for this summer for all ages groups for boys and girls:

The Boys Camp June 6th and 7th features male coaches who have played collegiate and international/professional volleyball. The middle school camp is designed for athletes entering the 6th, 7th & 8th grades, while the grade school clinic has be created for grade school age players from 1st through 5th grade. Campers will be placed with a coach that perfectly fits their ability.

The Attacking Clinic will address every facet of attacking from transitioning off the net, to a powerful approach, to a multi-directional arm swing. If you’re an outside hitter, middle blocker, or right side, this camp is perfect for you and your development as a high flying attacker. Campers will learn proper arm swing techniques, 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step approaches from the left, right, and middle. Learn to see the block as you jump and decide to attack down the line, angle, or seam. The libero clinic puts major emphasis on body posture, footwork, digging techniques, advanced floor skills, and ball handling techniques for serve receive and defense. The setter clinic will feature three technique-packed training sessions with an emphasis on Hand Position, Body Posture, Footwork Patterns, Release, Location, and Decision making.

The High School Team Camp is designed to allow teams to grow and improve through match experience. Campers can expect to play several matches against high schools invited from Florida and surrounding states. This camp is limited to ensure maximal training and competition opportunities for every athlete.

The All Skills Camp offers campers the experience of what it’s like to be in a Central Florida Volleyball training environment over 4 days and 9 sessions! Sessions will also include fun games, as well as information about the collegiate recruiting process, what it is like to be a collegiate athlete, and other important topics for today’s athlete.
